“Mu” means “skull” in Thai language，the legend says that Buddha’s skull was buried underneath the pagoda and so became a place for worship of pilgrims. This is one of the best known cultural relics of Banna and well acclaimed through countries like Thailand, Myanmar, and the Laos over thousand of years.
