¡¡ Royal Thai Palace was built for Gold Temple Kingdom of Jinglong by Ba Yazhen, the first Thai King of the third dynasty in 1160. The Palace, symbolizing the administration in the remote area, served not only a centre of political, economical and cultural, but also a evangelistic centre for Hinayana. The kingdom was shaped into the triangle forces with Chiang Rai, the capital of ancient Thailand and Luang Prabang, the capital of ancient Laos. Its royal family maintained marriage relationships with royal families of Thailand, the Laos, and Shan Kingdon of Myanma . The Palace remained in the rule of 41 kings, dated more than 800 years and left behind only some broken posts or foundation, two Buddhist temples and a pool of holy spring. |
